46 Riders Deep: The Goodtimes Skateboards Team Alumni (1991–1999)
Apr 23, 2025
We just wanted good wood under our feet, the freedom to travel, and a say in the creative stuff. To build something that inspired Goodtimes—and made it possible for us to actually have them.
Some riders stuck around because they could handle the long drives, hotboxed vans, and DIY everything. Others opened our minds in ways we didn’t see coming. Everyone played a part.
From vert to street to park to whatever was rideable, Goodtimes riders shaped skateboarding in their own way—
chasing the next road trip, the next spot, or whatever it took to get to the Goodtimes.
We may be missing a few heads—riders came in from different eras, some flowed through, some stuck. We’re still piecing together the full list.
Josh Nelson wasn’t officially on the team, but rode Goodtimes almost exclusively for a few solid years.
Brian Wehlage was a quiet local influence who showed us what was possible.
And Danny Webster? An ’80s icon we somehow missed by a decade—but he told us later he would’ve repped it in a heartbeat.
Classic.
